Job Overview:

As a CDL Driver with Raitz Family Farms, you will play a key role in delivering feed and commodities safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has 2 years of CDL experience (preferred but not required) and enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Safety, reliability, and professionalism are essential in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including automatic and standard trucks. Perform route driving for efficient delivery of feed, commodities, and other materials. Conduct digital pre- and post-trip inspections via company-provided cell phone. Arrive on time every shift (on time means early!). Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and local regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and site supervisors regarding delivery status. Report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance department. Maintain a clean and safe truck inside and out. Comply with all company policies and procedures while adapting to unexpected situations. Bring a positive attitude and have fun while on the job !

Requirements:

Valid Texas CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years CDL experience preferred (not required). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must pass a DOT physical exam to confirm fitness for driving. Strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations. Courteous and professional on the road and at delivery locations.
