Crude Oil Driver Job Description:
Transport crude oil in accordance with API (American Petroleum Institute) standards, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Safely operate a tanker truck to transport crude oil from tank battery locations to designated offloading facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tanker truck and equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulatory requirements. Load and unload crude oil at tank battery sites and offloading facilities, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, hours of service, and delivery documentation. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including but not limited to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate transportation activities and ensure timely delivery of crude oil. Uphold a commitment to environmental stewardship by preventing spills, leaks, and other environmental hazards during transportation operations. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service in all aspects of job performance.
Full-time Crude Oil Driver Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A CDL with an X Endorsement Must be 21 years of age or older. 1-year verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (tanker preferred) Clean driving record
