Hot Shot Delivery Driver Position Summary:
The Hot Shot Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations. Delivery locations mainly include the central Tx area, with occasional overnight loads required to bordering states. Drivers operate pickup trucks and trailers, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining compliance with all applicable transportation regulations. Overtime - as needed as workload demands
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver freight to customers in a safe and timely manner. Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation. Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedules. Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies. Ensure cargo is handled safely and professionally. Monitor vehicle maintenance needs and report issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries. Overtime - as needed as workload demands.
Qualifications:
CDL Required. Clean driving record. Ability to tow and maneuver trailers safely. Knowledge of load securement practices. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
