(Department of Transportation) regulations Manual handling Full Job Description Class A CDL Truck Drivers must have 3 or more years' CDL driving experience, a clean driving record, and pass the DOT drug test. The driver must also skillfully and safely operate Class A truck / trailer through all types of environments including off-road jobsites. Driver will haul counter weights and follow a crane to a job site or haul customer items from one job site to another. The driver will assist in setting up the crane and help rig the item so it can be safely picked up. The driver will also be required to: perform pre- and post- trip inspections as required by company and Federal regulations, adhere to load securement regulations, must be able to climb, bend, sit or stand for extended periods of time, kneel, stoop, reach, and to push or pull, must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and/or carry up to 50 pounds, and have the ability to climb up on trailers and other tall items as needed to help with rigging or strapping down of loads. Most jobs are local but may require some nights out of town. Pay depends on experience. Benefits package includes insurance and 401K. Employee paid health (medical) insurance for the employee.
