Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
Minimum Job Qualifications:
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Must be 21 years of age At least three (2) years of experience, proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's license Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers
