Relief Driver: Experienced Box Truck Driver (2 years of experience minimum)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. Hours are dependent on company's needs. Must be able to work 5AM to 5PM if needed. Some Saturdays are required for work. Hours for this position are not guarenteed. As needed/relief driver position. Duties Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes. Execute route driving, ensuring timely and accurate pickups. Load and unload cargo, ensuring the safe handling of goods. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service during pickups, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Collaborate with warehouse/hr staff to coordinate pickup schedules and inventory management. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving. Familiarity with moving procedures and warehouse operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required but preferred; additional endorsements may be beneficial. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Knowledge of safety protocols related to transportation and handling of goods. A clean driving record with no major violations is essential.

Live within 30 minutes/20 miles of Gainesville, TX DOT physical required upon hire. Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
