Job Description

PLEASE READ JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING
Driver Source is Hiring for a Local CDL A Driver in the Garland, TX area. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right driver for local delivery routes.
Location:
Garland, Tx Pay /
Schedule:
$22 hour / average 48 hrs weekly Monday
  • Friday Starts time 6:00am
Position:
Straight truck Flatbed & occasional Tractor Trailer driving.
Equipment:
Straight Truck Flatbed Tractor Trailer (this will only be driven occasionally to take a route with 1-2 loads if there is something too large to go on the Straight truck.
Job Duties:
Local Routes within DFW Metroplex (will Load the truck, No Unload) Monday & Tuesday you will take an overnight route down to the Austin/San Antonio area. Driver will be put up in a hotel & given per-diem for meals. Deliver Aluminum material primarily, so there is straps (no chains) some occasional tarping if the weather is bad. Home every night No Weekend or Holidays (unless driver come in to load their truck early for Monday's departure.)
Requirements:
4+yrs of Flatbed Experience Valid Class A CDL Valid DOT Medical Card No Positive or Refusal Test Clean Background
