Job Description
Cactus Asphalt is looking for CDL A Drivers Pavement Preservation Group brings together Cactus Asphalt, American Pavement Preservation, and Viking Construction—delivering trusted, high-quality asphalt repair and preservation solutions for roads, parking lots, and more.
Full-time Salary:
$24H / Overtime DOE/ Traveling with in and outside the state This position is ideal for entry-level candidates or new drivers with 1-2 years of driving experience who are eager to learn and grow. Starting pay is $24/hour.We are looking for:
- Tanker
- Dump Truck
- Slurry Truck
- Heavy Haul As a Driver you will: Keep trucks and equipment clean, organized, and safe Complete pre
- and post-trip inspections to meet DOT requirements and report any issues Follow dispatcher instructions and complete all required paperwork Be on time, reliable, and maintain a positive attitude with the team Load and unload materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions Support the crew with general labor as needed—we work as a team to keep jobs running smoothly Able to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed Operate newer equipment safely and responsibly Requirements Must have or be able to get a valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card and a clean record ( no violations in the last 3 years ) Must pass a drug test and follow FMCSA regulations At least 1+ years of driving experience required Must have Tanker Endorsements Hazmat is a plus Comfortable working outdoors in weather, noise, and physical conditions Help crew when needed Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs occasionally Able to talk, hear, and stay active throughout the day Must be able to travel up to 90% Manual transmission required Clean MVR/Clearinghouse Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Referral program Retirement plan Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Pavement Preservation Group (Cactus Asphalt, Viking Construction, and American Pavement Preservation) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
