Job Description

About the Role Granbury Tractor and Turf is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Driver to join our team. You will be the face of our company to many of our customers, responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of agricultural and heavy equipment. If you have experience hauling machinery and a "can-do" attitude, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Safe Transport:
Operate a company truck and trailer to deliver and pick up tractors, mowers, and heavy equipment within our service area.
Loading & Unloading:
Safely drive equipment onto trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution.
Securement:
Use chains, straps, and binders to secure loads according to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Equipment Operation:
Basic operation of various agricultural and construction machinery for the purpose of loading/unloading.
Customer Service:
Provide professional and friendly service during drop-offs and pick-ups.
Inspections:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in top working order.
Qualifications License:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A prefered
Experience:
Previous experience hauling heavy equipment or operating trailers is highly preferred.
Safety First:
A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a solid understanding of DOT hauling regulations.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to climb on/off equipment and lift/move heavy securement chains or ramps (up to 75 lbs).
Reliability:
Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Monday - Friday, Saturday as needed.
