Job Description
Join Our Team and Play a Critical Role in Dairy Quality & Safety! Are you a dependable driver who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and customer service? Western Dairy Transport, WDT, is looking for a Milk Sample Driver to transport milk samples from dairy customers and terminals to testing facilities while ensuring sample integrity and regulatory compliance throughout the process. What You'll Do Safely transport milk samples to laboratories and processing facilities Follow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely sample testing. Monitor and maintain proper sample temperatures during transport Verify sample documentation and maintain accurate records Conduct vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks Perform temperature monitoring and refrigeration audits at customer locations Provide professional and courteous service to customers Ensure all equipment, coolers, thermometers, and supplies are properly maintained and ready for use Follow all food safety, quality control, and transportation regulations What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
