Packaging & Crating Solutions Provider Schedule:
work time from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM depending on delivery schedule. Home nightly.
Overview:
We are hiring a dependable Driver to operate a 26" box truck (automatic) for local deliveries. This is a hands-on role combining safe driving and basic production/shop work.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26" automatic box truck for local deliveries and pickups. Load and unload materials and finished crates; secure cargo for transport. Build wooden crates using hand tools and power tools to company specifications. Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs. Follow delivery schedules and communicate status to dispatch. Maintain a clean, organized work and truck area. Adhere to company safety policies and proper handling procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred but not required. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools; prior crate or woodworking experience a plus. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability. Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay: $17-18/hr. Home every night. On-the-job training for production tasks as needed. Stable schedule with early start times
