Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, delivering goods to various destinations, and ensuring timely and accurate load and unload processes. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including those with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Deliver freight to designated locations following assigned routes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels Manage documentation related to deliveries, including manifests, delivery receipts, and route logs Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or refrigerated trailers as required for specific shipments Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly • Valid Driver License with experience operating box trucks Proven truck driving experience, especially in freight delivery or route driving roles Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other lifting equipment when necessary Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks associated with freight handling Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
