Duties Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to customers and clients within designated routes. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Verify delivery orders, complete necessary paperwork, and obtain signatures upon successful delivery. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition, including checking lights, brakes, tires, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and daily reports to ensure compliance with company policies. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, including manual transmission operation if applicable. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on box truck operations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus but not required. Experience with route driving and heavy lifting; comfortable moving freight manually or with equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of warehouse procedures and experience loading/unloading cargo efficiently. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles if necessary; familiarity with commercial driving standards. Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform moving tasks safely.
