• Job Opportunity:

  Solo Driver at Sample Trucking (FedEx Contractor)
• We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Solo Driver to join our team at Sample Trucking, a FedEx Contractor. This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while transporting goods to designated locations.

• Location:

• Running out of the terminal at 1101 E Cleveland St., Hutchins, TX 75141

• Duties:

• Safely operate assigned vehicles while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform route driving to deliver freight efficiently and on time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance.

• Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable CDL experience.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and Doubles/Triples endorsements is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a required background check, drug screening, and have a current DOT physical.

• Benefits:

• Weekly pay on Fridays.
• Starting pay is $23 per hour, increasing to $24 per hour after 90 days.
• Overtime pay is available after 40 hours.
• A $500 hiring bonus if you are already an active FedEx driver.
• Average of 250-300 miles driven per day.
• Driver referral bonuses, vacation days, paid holidays, accrued PTO, quarterly safety bonuses, and insurance reimbursement are offered.
• All automatic trucks are Volvo Day Cabs.
