(Department of Transportation) regulations Time management Full Job Description Overview We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Class A truck driver to operate a truck and trailer set up for roll off dumpsters. In this role, you'll be delivering and picking up dumpsters at job sites, homes, and businesses while making sure everything is done safely and on time. If you're comfortable behind the wheel of a big truck, take pride in your work, and enjoy being out on the road (not stuck behind a desk), this could be a great fit for you. Key Responsibilities Operate a roll-off dumpster truck in a safe and efficient manner Deliver, exchange, and remove dumpsters at customer locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure proper placement of dumpsters to avoid property damage Secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean driving record (MVR required) Minimum 1-2 years of CDL driving experience preferred Experience operating roll-off trailers or similar heavy equipment preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to work in various weather conditions Work Environment Outdoor work at construction sites, residential, and commercial locations Early morning start times may be required Hours are typically Monday-Friday with additional hours and weekend work as needed.
