CDL A Driver. Sand Hauling

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Driver specializing in Sand Hauling! In this energetic and vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport sand and related materials efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries to construction sites, aggregate facilities, and other key locations. We're looking for motivated drivers who thrive on active driving, load & unload operations, and maintaining excellent safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in freight transportation. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Haul sand using specialized equipment such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or flatbed trailers, depending on the load requirements. Load and unload freight efficiently at various job sites using forklifts or other lifting equipment when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Follow designated route driving plans, adjusting as needed for traffic or delivery schedules while maintaining punctuality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, loads delivered, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with DOT regulations. Assist with securing loads on refrigerated trailers or tanker units when required for specific freight types. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven 2 year mínimum experience driving tractor-trailers in freight delivery or similar roles, preferably with route driving experience. Hands-on experience with various trailer types including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, or roll-off truck. Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance.
