Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary. If you have experience with commercial driving and a passion for providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Duties Operate roll off trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials. Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Drive various types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, and flatbed as needed. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Assist in basic mechanical maintenance of the vehicle when necessary. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. Experience operating roll off trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission CDL trucks Strong mechanical knowledge is desirable for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Previous experience as a delivery driver is beneficial. Commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times.
