The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of the freight. Responsibilities Operate Flatbeds , wide loads and heavy hauls. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload freight securely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in compliance with regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Skills Experience with flatbed trucks. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Familiarity with route driving techniques for efficient delivery management. Experience in delivery driver roles with a focus on customer satisfaction. Capable of handling freight securely during transport. Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
