As a key player in our logistics network, you'll operate a variety of trucks and trailers, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while adhering to all safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and other freight carriers. Load and unload freight efficiently. Execute route driving with precision to ensure timely deliveries within your designated local or long distance area. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating various truck types including tractor-trailers and flatbeds . Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving roles, preferably with freight handling experience involving load & unload procedures. Skilled in manual transmission operation; experience with refrigerated trailers or specialized trucks such as tankers is a plus. Ability to drive safely for extended periods while maintaining focus on road conditions and traffic laws. Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency within local areas.. Must reside within 30 miles of the designated delivery area to ensure daily availability.
