Vehicle Movement / Lot Operations Associate (Contract)

Contract Position Summary Lincoln Group is hiring on behalf of a confidential client for a Vehicle Movement / Lot Operations Associate. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the facility, supporting production flow and overall lot operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, able to operate manual and automatic vehicles, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Safely transport vehicles between main facility, off-site lots, truck-away, shop, and rail locations Park vehicles strategically to maintain production flow and maximize lot efficiency Operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission experience preferred but not required) in tight and precise spaces Verify vehicle information including VIN, make, model, color, and labeling accuracy Print and place vehicle labels and apply additional stickers as required Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including speed limits, PPE, and damage prevention procedures Utilize shuttle vans to move between work areas and vehicle locations Move vehicles to quality inspection areas as needed Perform staging, scanning, and general yard organization duties Conduct pre-movement inspections, including checking for damage, battery charge (SOC/DSS), and performing jumpstarts when necessary Assist with fueling, car washing, tow hook removal, and protective covering adjustments Maintain cleanliness of company and OEM equipment Support additional yard operations and duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission skills are a plus) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 10 miles per day) Frequent sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, and climbing Ability to lift and perform physical labor throughout the shift Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions year-round Additional Details Fast-paced, production-driven environment Safety-focused culture with strict adherence to procedures Opportunity to gain experience in automotive operations and logistics #IND2
