Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, load management, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations Drive a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight carriers Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Experience operating manual transmission trucks in various environments Proven truck driving experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trucks such as dump or roll-off vehicles Knowledge of load securement techniques and freight handling procedures Ability to drive route trucks safely over long distances while adhering to hours-of-service regulations Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading freight at facilities Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer service excellence Join our team if you're ready to take your commercial driving career to the next level!
