In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and vehicle handling will ensure smooth operations and excellent service for our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo according to safety standards. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle condition in compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and address any logistical challenges promptly. Assist with forklift operation or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes and freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Strong knowledge of route planning, load securing techniques, and safety protocols for commercial driving. Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with forklift operation or other material handling equipment is a plus. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Pay:

$24.83 - $29.90 per hour
