This position offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home most nights and every weekend . There may be an occasional overnight during the week, but no long-haul runs. If you're looking for consistent routes, fair pay, and a company that respects drivers, this is a strong opportunity. What You'll Be Doing Run a dedicated local route delivering to Dexter customers Safely operate a Freightliner automatic day cab pulling 48' or 53' flatbeds Secure, transport, and deliver trailer parts and products on time Record cargo delivered and complete required logs Inspect tractor and trailer before and after each run and report any issues Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or incidents Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations Take required rest breaks and drive safely in varying conditions Pay includes miles, drops, and hourly components Home most nights and home every weekend Dedicated route — no random dispatching What We're Looking For 21 years of age or older Valid Class A CDL At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required) Flatbed experience preferred Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years) Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations Ability to handle long driving days when needed Why Work at Dexter?
