Job Summary:

Incumbent in this position performs loading of cement onto trucks such as cement bulk trailers, loading of stimulation chemicals, blending and loading and transporting of chemicals added to the cement according to instructions and specifications. Also performs routine maintenance of equipment at the warehouse as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs other related duties as assigned. Performs daily fork lift and facility inspections including checking proper fluid level, brake and tire inspections and conditions of lights. Performs inspections and completes proper documentation and reporting of any defective equipment. Maintains all PPE in warehouse and loading areas, reports any potential environmental issues. Maintains loading/shipping documents and recognizes where to locate and use MSDS for all products, ensuring proper use of PPE for material being handled, and placards and labels in securing loads. Upkeeps of facility on a daily basis including housekeeping and maintenance of yard and all buildings, proper loading techniques of all trucks and products. Maintains supplies or inventory of bulk materials to keep the warehouse properly stocked. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Some work experience in a related function or line of work is highly preferred. Prior experience in loading and transporting chemicals or bulk materials or warehousing function is a plus. Employee will be subject to a 90-day evaluation period. Must have satisfactory driving record. Must be able to pass a NON DOT drug test and medical examination. Must meet minimum physical requirements (Work Step Evaluation). Available and willing to work on a 24-hour basis and in extreme environments.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
