The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operation, including manual transmission and flatbed driving, as well as the ability to load and unload equipment. The Truck Driver will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain the integrity of the cargo throughout the transportation process. Duties
  • Operate flatbed trucks with gooseneck trailer, Heavy machinery.
  • Safely load and unload equipment, ensuring proper handling of equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of routes taken, and cargo details.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
  • Perform minor maintenance on vehicles as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Requirements
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with flatbed trucking operations is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Previous experience in truck driving or freight transportation is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
