JOB TITLE:
Driver-Mainstream/Bobtail
OOT LOCATION
Pecos
REPORTS TO
Regional Terminal Manager
SCHEDULE
12-hour shift. Night Shift Overtime and weekends may be required.
COMPENSATION
Hourly. Commensurate with skills and experience. Driver-Mainstream-Bobtail- Out of Town (OOT) Driver must be able to work Nights & work out of town on a 3 week rotation schedule or a 6 week rotation schedule. This position requires drivers to travel out of town for three weeks with one-week home time or Six weeks with two-week home time. Accommodations are provided for out of town travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings Job assignments will vary be location and travel to company terminals based upon business needs Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara) Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable Comply with the company's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills Other related tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age 23 Valid class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a good driving record and a good understanding of DOT regulations Must have 1 year of experience hauling liquid bulk using a tanker trailer or bobtail truck Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing Stable employment history Clean Shaven May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek. Must have some mechanical and electrical aptitude Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions Ability to work in extreme weather conditions Must be able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day Must be able to climb up steps to verify tank compartments as needed Must be able to work safely in uneven or muddy surfaces Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
