Roll-Off Driver

Job description: A Commercial Roll Off Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck requiring a Class A CDL. The role is to provide prompt and courteous service of containers at Customer locations. The Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with Blackjack safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensuring that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle. Perform complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Blackjack policy Operate in accordance with Blackjack safety policies and procedures to lift and service front load containers and dispose of collected material at the designated disposal facility. Safely operate a Commercial Vehicle along designated route and to the disposal site Follow a route tablet or phone with map, and service each customer as identified on the route or as assigned by the dispatcher or supervisor Identify unsatisfactory waste in containers and tag/notify the Company in accordance with applicable procedures Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the container and container edges on each disposal trip. Follow all required safety policies and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Hold a Class A Commercial Driver's license in good standing Two years of prior experience driving Commercial Roll Off trucks required Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations, acts in a professional, courteous manner toward customers and co-workers
