Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver/Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting our assets efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to manage time effectively to meet route schedules. We are a portable toilet and restroom trailer rental company. We service residential, commercial job sites, as well as solar and wind farms, pipelines, military, and special events like weddings, concerts or picnics. Responsibilities Operate 1 ton truck or similar vehicle to transport goods to various locations. No CDL required. Load and unload toilets, ensuring they are secured properly for transport, and properly placed at location. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Navigate delivery routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and maps as needed. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the route. update route software as the route is completed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Skills Experience in moving and heavy lifting is essential for this role. Proficiency in driving large trucks is required. Familiarity with our services and logistics operations is a plus. Ability to load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory for this position. Ability to pull a large hose, to the asset/toilet for cleaning.
