Truck Driver Randall Trucking - 3.0 Shallowater, TX Job Details Full-time $1,000 - $1,800 a week 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Truck driving Outdoor work Customer service CDL DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Time management Full Job Description Commodity Truck Driver - Job Summary A Commodity Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of agricultural commodities, feed products, grain, livestock feed ingredients, and other bulk materials between farms, elevators, processing facilities, and customer locations. Drivers operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations while maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring cargo is transported securely.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. Transport commodities to designated locations according to schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Secure and monitor loads to prevent damage or loss during transit. Complete required logs, reports, and delivery documentation. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and facility personnel. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues. Follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading commodities.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Knowledge of trucking safety regulations and transportation procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including seasonal peak periods. Strong communication and time-management skills. Experience hauling agricultural commodities or bulk products is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel and extended periods of driving. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Physical activity including climbing, securing loads, and inspecting equipment. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient movement of commodities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer service.
Pay:
$1,000.00 - $1,800.00 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
