ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Works with the loaders and Supervisors to move trucks and trailers from one location to another, according to assignments Moves trucks and trailers as needed to complete the loading process Ensures the trailer or truck is completely loaded and secured, before moving from the staging area Works with Management to ensure the proper equipment is staged for shipping Works closely with Maintenance to ensure any repairs are finished, before using equipment Helps keep the truck parking yard free of debris and trash Arranges trucks and trailers in the yard in an orderly and efficient manner Moves trucks and trailers for receiving, when needed Any other duties assigned by Lead Person or Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Ability to maintain attendance record in accordance with company Ability to lift 50 pounds Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
