PODS Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part-Time Driver specializing in PODs (Proof of Delivery) to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions for route driving and delivery tasks Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Drive shuttle routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of PODs at designated locations Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns during transit Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver experience or shuttle driving roles Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL license preferred but not required for all vehicles Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Ability to move cargo safely using appropriate equipment; warehouse experience is advantageous Physical ability to load/unload cargo repeatedly throughout shifts and work in various weather conditions Knowledgeable on how to operate a forklift Join us as a vital part of our logistics operations!
