Frac Sand Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Frac Sand Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting frac sand and related materials to various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries that keep operations running smoothly. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment to deliver frac sand and bulk materials. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment, ensuring secure and proper handling of freight. Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety standards are met before each journey. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to trucking operations, including proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials when necessary. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly preferred. Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures is essential. Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize efficiency while maintaining safety standards. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment for cargo handling is a plus. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to trucking and material transportation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements required; experience with tanker or flatbed endorsements is advantageous.
