Physical Certification Full Job Description Benefits Health Insurance 401K 6 Paid Holidays Cell Phone Plan Paid Time Off About the Role American Stone is hiring a full-time Class A CDL Driver to deliver stone products to retail customers, landscaping and masonry contractors, job sites, and other company locations. This role involves operating flatbeds, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer service, and DOT compliance.
Pay:
$28 to $32 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. We are looking for someone dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Candidates should have strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy materials. This is a primarily on-site position based in Utah. Candidates must currently be located in Utah and available to work in-person as needed. American Stone does not provide relocation assistance for this role. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles, including flatbeds and dump trucks Deliver stone products to customers, contractors, job sites, and company locations Load, unload, secure, and inspect materials before and after deliveries Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain DOT compliance, driver logs, and required documentation Operate equipment necessary to safely load and secure materials Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and internal teams Assist in the yard when needed, including loading support and general yard tasks Maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment in clean and safe working condition Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
Qualifications Required:
Valid Class A CDL license with appropriate endorsements Valid Medical Card Clean driving record with no major violations Ability to pass a dr•g screening Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles and equipment Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy materials Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong reliability, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Previous experience delivering landscaping, masonry, construction, or building materials Experience operating flatbeds, dump trucks, forklifts, or loaders Spanish is a plus Schedule Monday to Friday. Typical schedule between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM depending on routes and deliveries Occasional Saturdays required during busy seasons About American Stone American Stone is a family-owned company supplying stone products for construction, landscaping, and retail customers.
