Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Water Truck Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will safely operate Class B commercial water trucks to support milling, excavation, grading, and roadway construction operations. Primary responsibilities include dust control, material moisture conditioning, and supporting crews and equipment in the field while maintaining safe and efficient jobsite operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced operating commercial trucks in active construction environments. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B water trucks on construction sites and public roadways. Perform dust control and water application for milling, grading, excavation, and roadway operations. Fill, transport, and distribute water efficiently to support field crews and project requirements. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Operate manual transmission trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain awareness of jobsite hazards and follow all company safety policies and traffic control requirements. Assist with general labor duties and support crews when needed. Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and fuel/water usage documentation. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and field personnel regarding jobsite needs and schedule changes. Ensure equipment is kept clean, fueled, and properly maintained. Skills & Qualifications Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record required. Previous experience operating water trucks or commercial trucks in construction environments preferred. Experience working around milling, paving, excavation, grading, or heavy equipment operations is a plus. Ability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and traffic control awareness. Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Mechanical knowledge and ability to identify basic equipment issues preferred. Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
