You will be the face of our company on the road, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Pay begins at 20% truck revenue ties with a $150.00 day per diem for tax breaks. $1,100.00 gross weekly guarantee when running full time Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dry vans, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and conestoga trailers to transport freight efficiently. Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver freight promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Ensure proper handling of specialized freight such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred. Proven truck driving experience with at least 2 years previous driving. Ability to operate a manual transmission Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight transportation regulations. Familiarity with load securement techniques is essential. Strong physical stamina for long hours on the road; ability to lift heavy loads when necessary. Excellent communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues effectively.
