This position is considered a non-exempt (hourly) position for purposes of federal wage-hour law, which means it is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek. Oversees all product orders are fulfilled and ship dates are met. Responsible for driver log books, daily DOT inspection reports and monthly trip sheets Knowledge of all federal and state DOT laws and regulations. Ensure all maintenance of assigned vehicles and trailers is completed Responsible for loading and unloading the trailers and securing the product Maintains accurate daily load list for deliveries Coordinate all transfer between sections

Reports To:

Transportation Manager Experience 1 year of commercial driver experience with a clean motor vehicle record preferred 1 year of forklift experience to load and unload trailers preferred Abilities and Skills Required Ability to work well with customers Work well in a team environment with co-workers Strong analytical and reasoning ability and interpersonal skills Effective and articulate written and verbal communication skills Physical Demands Frequently required to walk or move through facility. Tasks involve pushing, pulling, lifting or using force equal to handling materials up to 50 pounds regularly, 100 pounds occasionally. Required to drive safely for 8 to 10 hours per day.
