Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes both locally and regional. 2 years of experience needed. In this vital role, you will operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and Conestoga's. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, conestoga's and trucks across local and regional routes. Load and unload freight around appropriate equipment like forklifts and loaders when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Drive with precision following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to guarantee safe deliveries. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and address any route or cargo issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation for compliance purposes. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving environments. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Prior experience handling various freight types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or heavy equipment is advantageous. Delivery driver experience that demonstrates reliability in managing schedules and cargo integrity. At least 2 years of experience. Knowledge of safety protocols related to load securement, vehicle inspection, and road regulations. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements based on the vehicle type driven. Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
