• 3:30 PM KHI Mechanical is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver to support our Tools Department and field operations across commercial construction projects throughout the Greater Salt Lake area.

This role is a key support position within the company and is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and helping keep projects running efficiently. The position involves driving between job sites, shops, and suppliers, while also assisting with tool organization, material handling, deliveries, and general department support. We are looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, punctual, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed. The right candidate understands the importance of supporting field crews and helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Deliver tools, equipment, materials, and supplies to commercial construction job sites Pick up tools, materials, and parts from vendors and suppliers as needed Load, unload, organize, and transport materials safely and efficiently Assist with maintaining accurate tool inventory and organization within the tools department Help stage tools and materials for upcoming projects and field crews Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles and work areas Coordinate deliveries and communicate with field personnel, warehouse staff, and supervisors Support general shop and warehouse operations as needed Follow company safety procedures and safe driving practices at all times

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work in an active construction and warehouse environment Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality are essential Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed Basic knowledge of tools, construction materials, or mechanical trades is preferred but not required Previous experience in delivery driving, construction, warehouse, or trades support is a plus

Work Environment:

This is a physically active position involving frequent driving, walking, lifting, loading/unloading, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime depending on workload and project demands.
