Duties Safely operate a box truck to deliver and pick up goods along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or pallet jacks as needed, ensuring items are secured properly for transit Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries and pickups, addressing any questions or concerns professionally Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving items within storage areas, and organizing shipments for efficient loading Follow route schedules precisely to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining flexibility for unexpected changes or delays Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and other documentation required for compliance and record-keeping Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred; training can be provided if necessary Familiarity with warehouse environments, including using pallet jacks and forklifts, is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally on the road Valid driver's license suitable for operating a box truck; a driver certification or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols to ensure secure deliveries Join us in delivering excellence!
