Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across local, regional, or long-haul routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Deliver goods to various destinations, including refrigerated facilities, construction sites with flatbeds, or tanker loading stations Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing fuel consumption Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and shipment documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Skills Valid CDL A license with clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and handling different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks Strong knowledge of freight handling, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols Experience with route driving in various environments and managing delivery schedules Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to perform load securing tasks and handle freight safely Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
