(Department of Transportation) regulations Manual transmission Flatbed Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our team for Amazon load deliveries. This role involves operating tractor-trailers across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience handling different types of trailers and freight, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport Amazon loads across designated routes Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks Drive various types of trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks as needed Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Follow all federal and state transportation laws and company policies Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any issues encountered during routes Skills Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record Experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmission preferred Proven ability in freight handling, load & unload operations, and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is a plus Delivery driver experience with a focus on safety and efficiency Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is advantageous Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety standards This role is ideal for professional drivers seeking a reliable position with consistent routes delivering Amazon freight. Candidates should possess a valid CDL-A license, relevant driving experience, and a commitment to safety.
