Non CDL Driver / Warehouse

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate for a client in Colonial Heights, VA . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with warehouse operations when needed. The majority of the role will involve driving and delivering electrical materials to customer locations throughout the region.

Pay Rate:

$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00

PM Job Responsibilities:

Operate a company box truck (GVWR under 26,000 lbs.) to safely deliver electrical materials and components to customer locations Load, unload, and transport materials including wires, pipes, transformers, and related products Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity Maintain driver logs and properly utilize company fuel cards Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order pulling, packaging, shipping, and inventory management Verify shipment accuracy and ensure materials are properly stored and allocated Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and customer interactions Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts as needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License required Current DOT Medical Card required Previous delivery driving experience preferred Forklift and pallet jack experience required General knowledge of warehouse operations Strong organizational and time-management skills Basic math skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members Ability to write legibly and maintain accurate records Ability to multitask and work independently Familiarity with warehouse materials and units of measure is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
