We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, demolition, or waste management projects with a focus on efficiency and safety. Duties Operate dump trucks with manual transmission or automatic where applicable, ensuring safe handling and adherence to traffic laws. Load and unload materials efficiently at designated sites using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks. Drive along assigned routes, managing delivery schedules and adjusting for traffic or site conditions to meet project timelines. Inspect vehicles daily for maintenance needs, fluid levels, tire condition, and safety features before and after trips. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Follow all safety protocols related to operating heavy machinery like refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trucks such as tractor-trailers. Experience Proven experience driving commercial trucks, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission operation and automatic transmissions. Prior delivery driver experience with route driving across urban or rural areas preferred. Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures for freight transportation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to heavy vehicle operation.
