Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste and recyclable materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise in heavy-duty vehicle operation, combined with your strong work ethic, will ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in sustainable waste management operations, contributing positively to community health and environmental conservation. Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks, including rear loader, front loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to load, transport, and unload waste containers Attach and detach roll-off containers securely onto trucks for transport or disposal purposes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and operational readiness Be able to complete all daily tasks on company provided handhelds including work tickets, pre and post trip inspections Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate schedules and resolve operational issues promptly Skills Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers Proven experience driving commercial vehicles in diverse environments Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with local traffic laws Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and waste management practices Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth operations Join us as a Roll-Off Driver and become an essential part of our mission to deliver reliable waste management solutions!
