Compensation is based on experience and certifications. Wolf Contractors Inc. has been a top site contractor in the Hampton Roads area for over 41 years and has completed over 1,030 civil construction projects in the Tidewater area. Wolf Contractors is seeking a motivated individual for a full time Class A Tractor Trailer, Lowboy, and Dump Truck driver position to work out of our Newport News shop and jobsites around Hampton Roads. Our tractor trailers have a manual transmission. Must be able to drive manual trucks with no restrictions for manual transmissions on your CDL. Must have experience pulling heavy equipment on a lowboy trailer.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a CDL driver and 2 years pulling lowboy trailer. Background check with clean criminal history. Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A is required with no restrictions for manual. Experience with heavy construction equipment. Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Valid CDL with acceptable driving record and no manual restrictions. Basic knowledge of construction equipment Ability to lift items up to 80 lbs. Must be safe while working or driving. Must have proper P.P.E. for the environment.
