This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with customer interaction, all while spreading happiness one cone at a time. Duties Safely operate the ice cream truck along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Manage daily route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at each stop Engage with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner to promote products and upsell items Handle cash transactions accurately, including pricing and change management Maintain the cleanliness and merchandising of the truck's interior and exterior displays Perform heavy lifting when restocking supplies or loading inventory into the truck Communicate effectively with team members regarding route updates, customer feedback, and sales goals Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of driving safety practices and route navigation skills Basic math skills for handling pricing, transactions, and inventory counts Excellent customer service and communication skills to create positive interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to restocking supplies Organizational skills for managing schedules, inventory, and merchandising displays Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus Military experience involving logistics or driving is beneficial but not required Embark on a lively career that combines driving adventure with community engagement!
