We haul liquid and dry materials in tanks all along the East Coast. We're looking to add qualified professional drivers. Our regional, non-hazardous business is growing and our hazmat business allows for more frequent home times. Both offer steady, consistent work and a solid payday at the end of each week. Atlantic Bulk pays $.70 per mile on ALL miles for dry products and $.75 per mile on ALL miles for liquid products. Tanker drivers make up only 15% of the total number of truck drivers in the USA. It is not for everyone. It is a job that requires extra training, additional endorsements and the safest driving skills. Shippers and receivers view tanker drivers as highly skilled professionals and give those drivers the respect they have earned. Loading, driving and unloading a tanker is hard work but has many rewards besides the premium pay. More Pay. More Home Time. Our regional operations and out-and-back dispatch allow more frequent home time and there is no waiting on the road for your next dispatch. Our drivers take their 34-hour reset at home and typically get one or two shorter breaks at home between resets. We properly train, support and pay or drivers. We buy and maintain our equipment to the highest standards. We also pay for sleeper-berth, breakdown and detention time. Passports not required, but border crossings earn even more. We hire safe, professional drivers who load and unload the materials we haul. We transport non-hazardous materials in tankers. A tanker endorsement is required. We also handle hazardous materials and a hazmat endorsement is not required but opens more opportunities. At Atlantic Bulk, we don't use off-shore or computerized dispatch. We offer flexibility in our work schedule, home time and operations that many other carriers can't or won't. We offer paid training for drivers with no tanker experience.
