In this role, you will be the vital link in ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials and equipment to various locations. Your expertise in operating different types of trucks, combined with your commitment to safety and efficiency, will drive our operations forward. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload materials efficiently using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Drive delivery routes confidently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while maintaining a positive customer experience. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed during loading or unloading processes. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating various truck types. Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery operations, preferably with delivery driver experience. Mechanical knowledge of trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading activities. Skilled in driving manual transmission vehicles with a clean driving record. Familiarity with load & unload procedures using mechanical aids or manual effort. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and transportation regulations.
