Tapani Careers Responsibilities The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for loading and delivering legal loads of material to a destination in a safe and timely manner.
Your main responsibilities are:
Driving/Operating Vehicle
- Ability to drive a dump truck and truck and pup Transportation and Delivery of materials
- Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations Administrative Tracking
- Completing daily truck logs Safety
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions while driving and delivering materials Upholding the Purpose Document of Tapani Inc.
- Your actions and behaviors support Strong Teams and Successful Projects Skills and Qualifications As a Dump Truck Driver, you establish and continue to grow the following skills and qualifications: Knowledge of operating a dump truck
- Having a solid understanding of the vehicle and how it operates Communication Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally with coworkers Decision Making Skills
- Ability to think quickly and adjust accordingly Some higher education or vocational training specializing in truck driving 1-2 years of experience driving in the construction industry Must have Class A CDL certification Valid Medical Examiner's Certification Ability to work overtime, occasional evenings, and weekends
