Dump Truck Driver

Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest. A CDL Class B license is required for this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections. Communicate with dispatcher throughout the day. Log and track loads in our system with provided tablets. Transporting materials to and from specified locations. Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions. Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck. Keep accurate records and slips of loads each day. Take appropriate safety precautions while driving. Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturday. Other job duties will be added as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

CDL Class B License. Current Medical Card. Clean driving record and background. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Cleaning potential road hazards (e.g. debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing, etc.) off of can slides, rails and doors as well as track bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails. Cleaning of potential road hazards on trucks will need to be cleaned off prior to leaving job site or yard. Working outside under all types of weather conditions Why work for DTG Recycle?
